Lynch Brothers & Co.

The rest of the house.

Escape. The world can wait.

Most houses in the Treasure Valley are truly left unfinished. The indoor living looks immaculate and inviting. It shouldn't stop there. The evening you wanted with dinner outside, a place that works when the light goes, a landscape you actually walk into is waiting.

That is the work.

Lynch Brothers & Co. designs and builds outdoor living for residential clients who already understand what the ground around the house is for. Not a decorated lot. A finished one. We professionally design the work ourselves, or we build from another designer's plans.

Who

The studio is Jared, Courtney, & the Lynch family.

He is a fifth-generation Idahoan. She is a fourth. They have watched the Treasure Valley become what it is, and they build for the houses the valley is now creating; the foothills, the river benches, old streets, new lots that still need a reason to go outside.

The company name is a family name. The work is created by them, on the design and on the job, with the people they trust to put it in the ground.

The point is to draw you out of the house.

Why

Not as a weekend project. As the way the place is used: morning, supper, after dark, in weather you would otherwise surrender to the interior. Beauty matters. Function is what makes you stay.

That is also why they do the work. The drawing. The days outside. The job runs through a private client portal so you can see the thing as it is being made. And the freedom to raise their family here, in the same valley they are building in.

Let's face it. People are attracted to this valley in Idaho because of the family life and outdoors. It's a happier and much healthier place to be.

How

  1. 01

It starts on the property. A site visit. We discuss grade, light, water, and how you move from the door to the corner of the lot.

  2. 02

Then a 3D design you can walk before anything is broken.

  3. 03

Then construction: hardscape, planting, lighting, water control, irrigation, structures, kitchens — the full outdoor living of the house, built as one project.

We do not mow. We do not maintain. We only design and build.

Conversations usually begin a couple of months before we are on site. That is the pace the work requires.

Where

The Treasure Valley of Idaho.

Boise and the towns and benches around it. If the lot is here and the project is a retreat at home, it is in range.

If you have been meaning to finish the house, start with a conversation.
